InContext Solutions Brings Pop-Up Virtual Reality Experience to Retail’s Big Show 2017

Chicago -  January 10, 2017 - InContext Solutions, the global leader in virtual reality (VR) solutions for retailers and manufacturers, today announced that it will showcase its ShopperMX™ HIVE (hi-immersion virtual experience) at the world’s largest retail conference - The National Retail Federation Retail’s Big Show, 2017, January 15 through 17 at the Javits Center in New York City (booth #1253).

The first of its kind, the HIVE offers participants hands-on access to the latest in VR technology and high-end wearable gear to better understand how VR is disrupting retail.

“While VR is continuing to gain hype in consumer applications, especially at shows like CES, it also provides critical decision-making power and insights to retailers and manufacturers,” said Tracey Wiedmeyer, co-founder and CTO at InContext Solutions. “We are excited for Big Show attendees to experience VR technology (many of them for the first time) to better understand the revolutionary impact it’s having on the industry.”

Within the HIVE, participants can engage with several VR demonstrations, including ShopperMX™, InContext’s flagship SaaS VR platform. ShopperMX helps retailers take new ideas from concept to store while significantly reducing costs and time associated with the traditional innovation process.

This demonstration transports users into a virtual store environment where they interact with products, shelf sets, store layouts and in-store displays to create more engaging shopping experiences. Participants will have access to ShopperMX’s data-driven features allowing them to layer in predictive analytics, visual attention analysis (VAA) and real sales data to get a unique perspective on how their concepts have or will perform.
